Every House Needs Numbers...

Of course!

And I believe, even the smallest of houses should have them!

So when I spotted this rock in our yard, I knew that it was perfect!

Placed next to the child-sized front door, our soon-to-be-Playhouse will have its own address...

Now, to find the perfect little mailbox!

What a cute idea! I think you should find another rock and paint a little chick on it - just because...

That is precious! What a cute idea! I love those old time mailboxes that hung on the outer wall to the house. I wonder if ebay or an old junk store would have them. Keep us posted. :O) I would even hang on in my kitchen. :o)

So cute! I love that little rock. I'm also REALLY tempted to paint house numbers on my front door like you did. It just adds so much character. Did you do yours by hand or are they a vinyl rub on?

Kathi - LOL! That's actually a great idea!! :)

Tricia Anne - that's exactly what I was thinking. If I can't find one, then I'll have my husband build something similar...

AnNicole - I painted them on myself. I agree, adds just the right amount of character! :) You should do it!!

Thanks for the compliments, everyone!

What a cute idea. Love the red door with the house numbers too.
Very pretty. I have a red door too, very close in color, just a touch rust in it, but love it.
Absolutely loved your family room
makeover, simply gorgeous. I love that Robins egg blue color.
Very serene and restful. I am planning to paint my bathroom that color soon. We have to finish retiling first so it will be a bit.
I love decorating as well. It was nice to meet you....enjoyed your blog. Blessings, Nellie
