Lots of Jars...

I love this look!

Simple, elegant, glowing...

appearing as if it was effortless and just thrown together with jars from around the house...

I would *love* to host a backyard party with my girlfriends and have this be the table that we gather around.

So pretty!

How simply lovely. The best dinners are with friends around a table set just as this one is. Thanks for sharing.

That is SO cute thanks so much for the idea. It would look beautiful under a rented white tent with these set all over the tables. I love jars--I just grabbed a handful at my favorite antique store the other day. I have pictures of them in my blog a couple entries back.

The jars, I have. The tea lights, I can get. It's the elegant alfresco dinner to go with them that I'll have to work on. Simply gorgeous.

Love this picture! The best part is that most people already have these two ingredients--jars and candles-- at home. Thank you for sharing! Great blog!

Simply stunning. What an elegant way to recycle glass jars. Would be great for a wedding, rehearsal dinner, or any other occasion.

I love this table. I did something similar for a birthday party for my mom-in-law. I added sand and pale turquoise candles. It was a hit!

I just did this on much smaller scale for a party we had at our house last night. It's pretty much impossible to light the candles once they are in the jars if you don't have a long lighter, so I lit them first, then used tongs to put them inside the jars. It worked really well.
