A Little More Halloween...

I finally got my front porch decorated!

I don't think I have ever waited this long into October, but...
it's finally done.

This year we decided to make the paper bats that I posted about the other day. It was easy and fun and the boys got into the crafting as well. It made for a great project for us to do together!

With the bats up on the walls,

pumpkins sprinkled on the ground,

a few crows added to the mix for good measure,

and corn stalks standing in their places,

it can only mean one thing...

We're ready for Halloween!

It will be here before we know it!

What about you?

Are you ready to hear the sounds of little voices asking

Trick-Or-Treat...

I just love all the bats! Your house is adorable inside and out. I wish I was coming trick-or-treating to your home this year!

i saw this idea too! my office mate and i did something similar (and much smaller in scale) to our office door. but this, well, this just takes the cake!

It's so stinking cute!!!! I LOVE IT!

I'm doing the bat thing too but I have a tree to hang them on...going to work on that tonight. So, what did you use to hang them on your house? Is your house vinyl or hardiplank? Just curious...we have vinyl siding. I may see more bats in our future!

Super neat! Looks great!
We're going to do a bat thing inside....maybe we will put them in the windows...I found some cool cut outs. Penny's putting googly eyes on them. :)

Love your porch! It looks really great. Don't feel bad about decorating it so late for Halloween. I still haven't done mine :oP

That is so cool. We don't even decorate outside for Halloween because we don't get any trick or treaters around here.

I love how those bats look! I may have to try that on the inside of my house or on Halloween day - we've got winds that would surely send the little bats flying all over the state!

Your porch is incredibly awesome! I wish I had a covered porch to put stuff on. I want to do a bunch of bats but with the torrential rains we've had here lately, they wouldn't make it to next week, much less Halloween!

Your gift for decorating is a source of amazement for me. I just love to visit your blog to see what you've done.

I am completely lovin' the bats. Not only that, you put a ton of them up there to make it more real.

Right on.

It looks great! We have slowly started decorating but have found that the local squirrels are enjoying nibbling on our pumpkins. And they actually destroyed (I mean little tiny pieces scattered) our littlest pumpkin that my 2 1/2 yr old daughter picked for herself. It was really sad when I noticed it. Luckily I have a similar size in the house that I can replace it with closer to Halloween.

Also I gave you a blog award on my blog.

Hi Karla that's one batty porch! LOL! glad you got it all decorated. I'm glad I have not done mine yet, we just had a bad storm all would have blown away in the wind in Northern CA today. What a storm we had. Thanks for sharing.
