...in a big, bad way!
I want a fun color for our entryway and it's going to come by way of turquoise...
or teal...
or aqua...
or whatever you want to call it!

Something like this...

but with a little gray in it to tone it down just a bit...
I've got my gallon of "Thunderbird" and hopefully by the end of the day my entry will have the pop of color that I've been craving.
I've got all the photos and decor in place to create the new look and feel that I want...
I just need that color!

Can't wait to see it finished. I'm still searching for the perfect color for our master.
have you seen http://www.houseofturquoise.com/
I like it!
I am craving more color as well on my ALL pumpin butter covered walls. Too much of a once good thing.
Can't wait to see it.
This that a Home Depot color?
Can't wait to see it. I think you picked a fabulous shade!
I can relate! I have color throughout my house except bathroom & bedroom..those are neutrals. I'm adding turquoise now. Love your colors you have there..good luck!
Beautiful color and can't wait to see it on your walls! I too, am craving it. :)
I just painted a room True Turquoise yesterday. I love it!
Cannot wait to see it!
I have varying shades of turquoise, teal & aqua in my house. I think of them as the colors of the sea I love so much. I cannot wait to see your finished entry.

Hurry up and get it! It's going to be beautiful!
I can not wait to see the progress!
I think you'll be very happy with your color choice! I sampled Iced Green (on the same color card) in our basement. Too turquoise for that project since I wanted a more tranquil blue, but still very pretty. Good luck!
I cannot wait to see how it turns out! I love the color because it's bold and new, but also traditional. perf!
It looks like it will be amazing. I can't wait to see the final outcome. Have a great weekend!
I just wanted to tell you that you inspired me to do board and batten in my family room and I LOVE it!! I love your blog (and I love the name, too!) Thank you for all the great ideas!
Oh, bet it will look great...can't wait to see the finished product.
I really love those shades of teal too! I have many accent colors of teal throughout our home. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Think your entry will look wonderful in that color!
I have both "Oyster Bay" and "Waterfall" in my house... love them both!!!
Our ensuite bathroom is turquoise, or aqua? and I love it. Looks different at different times of the day, but very relaxing. Looking forward to your reveal.
Can't wait to see what you choose! I love the tiffany box color!

Ooohhh I just ordered my Glidden sample in a very similar turquoise type color. I can't wait to get it and play to see which room to paint.
oooh I love all shades of turquoise! Go with seafoam green ~ it's SO light and airy and just beautiful! :)
This is a post after my own heart!
I love all the different shades you chose, and can't wait to see how it turns out :)
(I'd love to do the same, but get cold feet so quickly!)
oooh perty! Can't wait to see pics!
oooh perty! Can't wait to see pics!
you might want to ask them to give you a small sample of the two lighter colors and take them home and do alittle sample site... sometimes... they will make a difference once you put it on the wall... thunderbird is very very pretty but was just thinking it may dry alittle too dark... I am going more for the very beachy look now in my sunroom... my wishlist includes colors similiar to 2048, 2048-40, and 2048-60...looking forward to photos when you are finished! have fun.

I can't wait to see what you come up with!
Ohhh, I can't wait to see the photos. Our cottage is so tiny that we generally stick with the white white white so that we don't drown in the colour. How I'd love to have some more space! Jen x
I just posted on turquoise ( and pink), today. I grabbed about 15 paper samples at Lowe's tonight.
I am thinking of the color of the moasics in Venice... did you find the color you wanted?
We're ready for the after shots.
Love your ideas and can't wait to see what you do with that space
Love the turquoise! Reminds me of an article I read in BHG'S June edition. They have a whole page on indoor color Seaglass, complete with all the coordinates. If you can pick up a copy I suggest checking it out.
Also, we did our entryway in a little more of a bluish-grey and we get compliments on it all the time! Good luck with the painting and I can't wait to see the results!
...Love your colour choice....and your story!....Found you threw Funky Junk Interiors...and now I am off to read more!
I just posted about painting my guest room turquoise. Love it! Can't wait to see your finished room!
Love the color, and can't wait to see it. Hope it makes you smile everytime you see it.

Love your blog Karla, just found you :0)
My two favorite turquoises for walls so far are yarmouth blue and old pick blue both by Benjamin Moore!
"Thunderbird" is my favorite color from the palette. It really fits in with the whole beach/shore theme you have going on. Thanks for the post.
