I cannot wait to start making Christmas Cookies!
Which is kind of odd, because as I have said before, I am not the baker in the family.
But how can a girl resist when there are so many great recipes and beautiful cookies to be made!

All of these came from Taste Of Home and I want to try my hand at all of them!
And even though this recipe isn't for a cookie, or require baking (score!), I want to try this one too...
Frozen Hot Chocolate

Yum!
I have promised myself (and Will) that I won't start any new projects (baking is definitely a project for me and the kitchen bears the brunt of it) until I am finished decorating for Christmas and all of the empty bins are out of the garage (ie: the workshop) and back under the house.
I am thiiiiis close to being done, and then the baking is on!
Have you started your Christmas Cookie baking yet?

I have been sneaking peaks at your blog for months now - never leaving a comment. I think we bloggers refer to it as lurking :-) I love your blog. I am your neighbor to the north about 2 hours. My bins are also in the garage whilst my husband patiently taps his fingers! I have done some baking(my most recent favorite recipe is on my blog), but all for certain events so alas I have none at my home yet - but soon! As soon as the bins are gone!
Can I have one of each :)
The snowflake cookie is beautiful!

I love Taste of Home. I've been getting their mag for years and they are my go to source for good old fashion cooking :0)
Yum! All of them that have anything remotely to do with chocolate would be my favs. :-) I did test out some Christmas mint brownies that turned out really good, but no other Christmas baking yet.

Wow! Those cookies are all so very beautiful! I've tried making my cookies look that pretty, and they never do. Oh well, they still taste good. :)
We haven't done our cookie baking yet. Hopefully this week. I can't wait, as that is probably one of my favorite holiday traditions. Along with walking around the neighborhood looking at lights, and coming home to hot chocolate with crushed peppermint candy rolled marshmallows! Mmmmm. I'm so excited!
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season.
Beth.
